60 Rams Earn GNAC All-Academic Status

2018-19 ACADEMIC All-GNAC

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) unveiled the list of 1,030 individuals who achieved GNAC All-Academic honors for the 2018-19 academic year with 60 Suffolk student-athletes achieving the feat.  

The 60 Rams recognized are the second-most for Suffolk in the awards' 12-year history. Amongst the 13 full-time GNAC member's Suffolk's 60 honorees rank ninth with Saint Joseph's (Maine)'s 115 leading the pack.  

To qualify, a student-athlete must be in his/her second year of academic status (sophomore or above), maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or above on a 4.00 scale during the 2018-19 academic year, with each eligible player having to compete in at least one full season of a GNAC sponsored sport. Over the course of the year, over 273 student-athletes across 19 varsity sports combined for a 3.27 GPA with 18 student-athletes achieving perfect 4.0s in either the fall or spring semesters with seven Rams – men's cross country/track & field's Matyas Csiki-Fejer, women's cross country/track & field's Natalie Fay and Emily Manfra, volleyball's Emma Feeney and Sarah Mullahy, women's basketball's Marissa Gudauskas and men's hockey's Jared McCracken – reaching the milestone in each semester.
