Suffolk Giving Day: Step Up for Ram Nation

Suffolk Giving Day: Step Up for Ram Nation

BOSTON – Rams around the world are coming together to step up for Suffolk on the University's Day of Giving, Wednesday, May 1.

Giving Day is an online-based fundraising event that encourages alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, students and supporters from all over the world show their pride and support by giving back to the areas of Suffolk they care most about.

This year 10 percent of the funds raised will support the Suffolk Student Emergency Assistance Fund and the Law Student Emergency Assistance Fund. Both programs provide small grants to help eligible students cope with unexpected expenses caused by crisis situations.

Examples include:
  • Aid in covering costs related to temporary loss of housing
  • Assistance with transportation cost for students with serious family emergencies
  • Help affording food and necessities
Give by clicking the link below or via the following:
  • Text "SUGIVES" to 717-77
  • Visit Suffolk.edu/giving
  • Stop by a Day of Giving table in the lobbies of 73 Tremont, Sargent Hall, Sawyer, or the Samia Academic Center.

Beyond stepping up for Suffolk Athletics on the field, Rams step up in everything they do from academics, athletics and beyond on campus. Fans are encouraged to share how they stepped up for Suffolk and the Athletics Department through the Rams' official social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

We hope you will join this community-wide effort and help us achieve 501 donors on 5/01/19. Every gift matters, and when combined with others, has a profound impact on each student's educational experience at Suffolk.

MATCHING FUNDS MAXIMIZE IMPACT
This year's goal is to achieve 501 donors on 5/01. Meeting that goal will unlock $50,000 in matching funds from a generous group of alumni, faculty, staff and parents, including Suffolk Athletics Hall of Famer Larry Smith.
