Coming into the Suffolk University athletic program from a small public school I was unsure what to expect. With an entirely new coaching staff coming in and a lot of uncertainty with my role they took me in as if they recruited me the entire time. Being able to live in the city of Boston and work every single day towards a common goal with my teammates was a great privilege. The coaching staff held me accountable not only on the court, but also in the classroom and wherever I may be off the court. They held us to a standard higher than we even expected of ourselves and it helped us become the men we are today. I am honored to have been a part of this program from the lows to the highs.

To my teammates: We came together despite different views, opinions, and attitudes and wanted to do something bigger than ourselves. We wanted to move this program in the right direction long after we were gone and leave behind a legacy. We didn't place in tournaments the way we envisioned or won as many games as we expected of ourselves, but working as hard as we could every single day in season and in the off season was a pleasure and if I could do it all over again I absolutely would.

To my coaches: Thank you for holding me accountable for my actions whether on the court or off. I have learned immensely not only about the game of basketball, but how to carry myself in a classroom and as a man. Thank you for believing in me when I felt nobody did and I respect each and every one of you for the amount of hard work and dedication you put in to maximize our chances for success against opponents.

Future Rams: Take advantage of every moment. The off season workouts, the summers off, and the playoff games are all just as important as the other. It's cliché to say that this time flies by, but it is cliché for a reason. Approach the game with a sense of gratitude and love. Be thankful you get to do what you set out to do when you were younger and find love within the struggle and grind that is a basketball season.

I am happy to call this program my family and wish nothing but the best for everybody involved.
