Starting my time at Suffolk in the fall of 2015, I had the unique experience of joining the men’s soccer team in the same season as a new coaching staff. It was clear to me, from the beginning, that the program had been put in the hands of two very capable and passionate individuals. I’m excited for where I think the program is headed, and I’m thankful to have been part of it! Jay and Andy have been very committed to this team and I’m glad that I’ve been able to share these first four years with them. They have become, and will continue to be, part of the family.

Through all the hard work, success and failure, ups and downs, I’ve managed to have a lot of fun with this team. I’ve learned a lot about myself and I’ve met people that will be lifelong friends. I’m proud of all that I’ve accomplished, and I’m sad that the most competitive years of my soccer career have come to an end.

For anyone that knows me, or knows my family, they know that my soccer experience has been just as much my family’s soccer experience as it has been my own. Coaches, teammates and even myself, have been surprised and delighted by the level of devotion my mom and dad have shown to me and to the Suffolk University men’s soccer team. My parents were always willing to drive any distance, in any conditions, on any given day, to watch me and the Rams compete. They have been there for me each step of the way through 15 years of soccer, and for that I am forever grateful. This shared experience has been one that I will cherish.

I hope that the Rams that come after me are able to continue to push themselves and the program forward. At your lowest moments, I advise you to smile and remember that we play for the love of the game. Each obstacle you encounter is a lesson to be learned. Each success you achieve is a reminder of how rewarding the game can be. Work hard for what you want to achieve and enjoy every step along the way.

Thank you to my coaches and teammates of both past and present, to my sister, my family and my friends for always supporting me. It has been a good ride.
