Countless memories.

I will never regret the day I decided to become a Suffolk Ram. Being a part of Suffolk athletics has shaped me to be the person I am today and I am forever grateful for this opportunity. I love everything about being a part of Ram Nation and now is the perfect time to thank all the wonderful people who have been on this journey with me.

To my past teammates: thank you for showing me what it means to be a Suffolk Ram. Thank you for being my first friends at Suffolk and showing me the ropes. Thank you for teaching me patience and perseverance through all the highs and lows that we went through together. You have been great mentors to me and I am so appreciative of you. Thank you for being great leaders, great teammates and staying in touch even after you graduated.

To my current teammates: thank you for making my senior year unforgettable. From team bonding in the pouring rain during pre-season to making Paninis on LM to securing a spot in the GNAC playoffs, you all never fail to put a smile on my face. My juniors, Sarah and Kayleigh, I’ve loved playing by your side and getting to see you both grow as players these past few seasons. The both of you are so sweet and I can always count on either of you for a laugh. I know you will both make the most of the next year and continue to be great role models for everyone. All my underclassmen, you have ignited a flame within SUVB and it is your job to keep it lit, this program would not be where it is today without all of you. Thank you for always bringing energy to every practice and keeping me young. I’m always just a phone call away, thank you for all the great memories, I cannot wait to see the great things you all do on and off the court next year.

To my fellow seniors: thank you for sticking with me for the past four years, I like to think we’ve been through it all together. I’ve loved getting to know you all the past four years and building great friendships. Talia, you are undeniably one of the most driven people I know, your initiative to get things done and take the lead are like no other. Dorothy, your passion and determination for everything you do inspires me, thank you for always keeping me on track these past four years. Never stop sending me memes. Chidera, thank you for always being a voice of reason, you always know what to say and when to say it. Your love for the game inspires me and I’ll miss challenging each other during practice. Leah, you are one of the most loyal and trustworthy person I know, I am so thankful to have you to talk to about anything. Thank you for all the laughs and being one of my biggest fans these past four years, I am your biggest fan! Heidy, thank you for being the ray of sunshine our team needed every once in a while. Your smile could brighten up anyone’s day! Emma, we’ve come a long way from leaving each other on read, while searching for roommates in the Summer of 2015. You are one of the strongest and best friends I have, thank you for your positivity this season and becoming the sister I have always wanted.

To Suffolk volleyball’s number 1 fan Rachel Fancy: thank you for believing in us. We really missed having you out on the court this season, we appreciate you and your spirit. Thanks for always being a great teammate, with and without two functioning ACL’s.

To my parents: thank you for your constant support, I would not be here without you. Thank you for dealing with my indecisiveness and being patient with me. I know I was probably the worst, when it came to decide where to go for college and you helped me make the best decision. I love being able to call Boston my home. Thank you for going out of your way to be at a lot of my games, it has meant the world to me. Thank you for believing in me and empowering me to be the best I can be on and off the court!

I have loved being a part of Suffolk Athletics for the past four years, it is an experience I will never take for granted. Thank you to all the coaches, trainers and athletics staff who have been with me along the way. Thank you for creating a community where I have been able to focus on academics and make so many great connections, all while playing the sport I love.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Ram Nation forever.

Love,

Bridget Allison
